I graduated from Shelby High School in 1981, went into the broadcast communications program at the College of Great Falls for two years, then came to work at KSEN in the spring of 1983. I left KSEN in 1991 to not get a job with a sports team or network. I ended up with the Hardee's restaurant franchise for eight years, and in 1999 got back into radio in Great Falls. I married my wonderful wife Ronni in 2001 and came back to Shelby when she got the job as the elementary music teacher here. There happened to be a job opening at KSEN when we moved up here, so...I'm baaaackkk...

Today Is National Biodiesel Day!

Being a closet supporter of ending our dependence on foreign oil, I thought this might be interesting. Among the things I learned was the fact that the diesel that we pump into our buses and farm equipment was named after a guy whose last name was Diesel! I didn't know that! Check out the information on Biodiesel Day

Beware Phony Tsunami Aid Scams!

This from the Associated Press:

"UNDATED (AP) - Scammers already are trying to take advantage of the outpouring of compassion  following Japan's earthquake and tsunami disaster. Let it be a warning for the charity-minded to be on the lookout for phony aid appeals. FBI spokeswoman Jenny Shearer says one fraudulent scheme involves an e-mail claiming to be from the British Red Cross and seeks donations via wire transfers. Legitimate charities don't make requests for wire transfers. There are a number of online resources to check out charities. Online: Better Business Bureau, http://www.bbb.org; the Foundation Center,  http://www.foundationcenter.org, a New York-based authority on philanthropy; or Charity Navigator

The other actual country ladies on the list:
