I graduated from Shelby High School in 1981, went into the broadcast communications program at the College of Great Falls for two years, then came to work at KSEN in the spring of 1983. I left KSEN in 1991 to not get a job with a sports team or network. I ended up with the Hardee's restaurant franchise for eight years, and in 1999 got back into radio in Great Falls. I married my wonderful wife Ronni in 2001 and came back to Shelby when she got the job as the elementary music teacher here. There happened to be a job opening at KSEN when we moved up here, so...I'm baaaackkk...

The city of Lethbridge is holding a children's festival at the Exhibition Park this Saturday, and they were nice enough to give us a few family ticket packages! Conrad’s Tyler Bucklin In Boston Marathon!
The Independent Observer let us know last week that our Tri-County Cardinals manager and Conrad girls' basketball coach and teacher Tyler Bucklin is running today in the Boston Marathon. You can follow his progress! I checked the Boston Athletic Association website, and they have a place where you can search runners by name and get their results...

We just got word from Great Falls that they have had to cancel today's GFH/CMR JV track meet. Runners, jumpers and throwers hope the field areas dry out enough for the Fairfield Invitational meet also scheduled for Memorial Stadium Saturday...

A Softball Schedule Change…
Shelby softball had scheduled a game against Browning for today, but Neal Roush called us this morning to tell us that Shelby's JV team will actually play a doubleheader against Conrad today. Have A Good Lamb Recipe?
When my wife and I helped my sister move to England, we inherited many of her uneaten freezer items, including a three pound "lump" of lamb. Perusing the freezer this last weekend, I decided Easter would be a good time to enjoy this lamb, but I've never actually prepared a lamb dish...

Thanks for giving me a few days off! I got a lot of yard work done, but my taxes...let's just say I'm happy we have until the 17th this year!

Griz And Cat Fans: Wanna Complain To ESPN?
Avid Grizzly fan Tom Root called me this morning to say he added his voice to the vocal throng who have complained about the inability to watch either Montana or Montana State on television next week. Not only did he complain to ESPN, he also called the FCC to let them know he considers the decision to carry the games on ESPN3 only unfair to us technology-challenged folks in the remote West..
