Our KSEN/K96 Bozeman Trophy male athlete of the week has been one of guys stepping up to give the North Toole County Refiners a more balanced attack and more victories. Our female athlete of the week has been a consistent force and leader for the Cut Bank Lady Wolves all season long.

Senior Refiner, Jordan Williams recorded a triple-double in Sunbursts' key victory over Heart Butte last Friday night. Ten steals, twelve rebounds, and 19 points as the Refiners handed Heart Butte their first loss. Our KSEN announcing team had noted int he second half it seemed a loose ball turned up  and Williams showed every time as well. Williams added 13 points against Great Falls Central Saturday and then 26 Tuesday night against Dutton/Brady. Sunburst has now won nine of their last ten and head coach, Nate Aschim, says the team is balanced, taking some pressure off Treyton Pickering is probably a contributing factor to those victories.

Our female athlete of the week has been a consistent force and leader for the Cut Bank Lady Wolves all season. Senior, Marissa Vandenbos had three big games defensively with rebounds and steals in three games last week against Rocky Boy, Browning and Shelby. Her defensive pressure along with teammates really helped get Cut Bank back in the game after they fell behind early by 16 points against Shelby. Marissa's scoring was also a factor as she led the team with 16 points in the Rocky Boy game and 17 against Shelby.

Congratulations to our KSEN/K96 - Bozeman Trophy Athletes of the Week; Senior Jordan Williams of the North Toole County Refiners and Senior Marissa Vandenbos of the Cut Bank Lady Wolves.
