KSEN/K96 Bozeman Trophy athletes of the week continue to lead their teams to big wins and a spot at the top of the conference standings.

He wasn't the only one, but the play of Cut Bank senior Evan Harrell was big in two key conference victories for the wolves over the weekend. The Cut Bank guard-forward go the wolves off to a quick start against Fairfield with ten points in the first quarter and ended the night with17 in a three-point Cut Bank win. The next night was even better against another one of the 1B's top ranked teams, Rocky Boy. Evan Harrell has been averaging in the high teens, but in the Rocky Boy game he lit it up with six three-pointers and 25 total, his season high. Cut Bank got the one point win in the game 74-73. Harrell is not only an offensive threat, but extremely quick on defense and, along with pressure from his teammates, helps to create a lot of turnovers at the top of the zone.

Our female athlete of the week, it seems, just keeps getting better and harder for opponents to stop, especially down around the basket. Fairfield senior Natalie Klinker scored 19 against Cut Bank Friday night and came back with 17 against Shelby on Saturday. Natalie is an all-state player from a year ago and helped lead Fairfield to a state championship appearance against Malta. She appears to be leading the lady Eagles in that direction again and is not only a top scorer but gets more than her share of rebounds and also is an excellent ball-handler and passer.

Also nominated this week and very deserving, Valier senior Isaac Ramos who went eight and zero this past weekend with two victories over state-ranked wrestlers. He is now 24-9 on the season and ranked first at 126 pounds in the Northern Division.

Congratulations to our KSEN/K96 - Bozeman Trophy Athletes of the Week; Senior Natalie Klinker of Fairfield and senior Evan Harrell of Cut Bank. The Athlete of the Week is sponsored locally by McDonald's in Cut Bank. McDonald's honors our athletes with two free value meals each.
