Andy Samberg Fills in for Tina Fey as Sarah Palin on ‘Saturday Night Live’

When Seth Meyers began introducing Sarah Palin as his next guest on ‘Saturday Night Live‘s’ Weekend Update, we were all expecting to see Tina Fey‘s iconic impersonation voice her thoughts on the HBO movie ‘Game Change.’ But unfortunately, the ’30 Rock’ star was not available, so naturally the show selected the next best person to fill in for her — Andy Samberg.

While Samberg was definitely not as memorable as Fey, it’s always great to seem him in political drag. Still, most of the sketch was pretty hard to understand, what with all the “Don’tcha know”s and “You gotcha”s. Even Meyers was a little dismayed when it quickly became clear that Samberg knew next to nothing about the governor from Alaska.

What do you think? Sort of funny? Or train wreck?
