What a wonderful fair it was this year here at our Shelby fairgrounds. It was year number 70 and I thought this year's 4 county Marias Fair was the best ever. And having Charlie Jenkins for the Saturday night grandstand show, coupled with no gate admission made this year's  fair even more special. It's always fun to do my Saturday morning "live from the fairgrounds," and I know speaking for Brittany Longcake and Holly Rogers, that we all enjoyed it. The time simply flew by and before I knew it, it was time for the big parade on Main Street. Being a judge at this year's parade was a little more difficult than I anticipated because ALL the floats and parade participants were spectacular. The weather was perfect and as I saw the folks gathered on Main Street, I thought to myself, this is what living in rural America is all about! The summer excitement continues this week with the Lewis and Clark Festival set for this weekend in Cut Bank. I celebrate 13 years at the radio station this month and I still remember my first Lewis and Clark day broadcast back in 1998. Anne James will be out there this Friday taking part in the great chili contest and we all look forward to another fun weekend. It's beautiful weather like this and good neighbors and friends that make living in the Golden Triangle so special.
