just returned from Minnesota last evening and initially thought I would blog a little about my visit to the Mayo Clinic and also mention that I'll be reading Montana History this evening (Tuesday) at the Marias Heritage Center but I think the dominant thing on all our minds at this time is the rain, the water, and the floods we are facing. I just heard Gary Goodan talking about the situation in Heart Butte and I think we are all in for some challenging times ahead. Hats off to the Pizza Hut restaurants as they are getting set to host a fund raising event tomorrow (Wednesday) at their Shelby and Cut Bank locations. For all dine-in, carry out, and delivery orders tomorrow, 10% of the Pizza Hut sales will go to benefit the local Red Cross to assist our local flood victims and our affected communities. Let's all take time out as we hope and pray for the best and do what we can on an individual basis. Times like these bring out the best in all of us and Pizza Hut is certainly a shining example of what this is all about. In the meantime, we'll do our level best on both KSEN AM 1150 and KZIN FM-Wide Open Country K 96 to keep our listeners informed and updated throughout this period. This is what radio has always done and what we will continue doing. And if you get a chance, stop by Pizza Hut as one of the ways to benefit the local Red Cross along with the local communities and those impacted the most.
