A Car Wash & A Plant At The Same Time

You're invited to get the family bus all washed up plus get a plant. It's going on this Saturday in uptown Shelby as Girl Scout Troop 3100 is doing a car wash and selling plants. This really is an "all purpose" car wash. The troop will be washing cars and selling plants beginning at 10 o'clock Saturday morning and going all day long until 4 Saturday afternoon. They'll be set up at the turn around on Main Street across from Wells Fargo Bank. To me, this would be a great location for our first stop light in Shelby. I'll have to get with the mayor on this Monday morning. In the meantime, you're invited to get your car cleaned up and enjoy a beautiful plant at the same time as Girl Scout Troop 3100 continues to raise money for their trip to New York City. Speaking of the Big Apple, Peter Franklin, the Gabby Cabby will join me this afternoon (Tuesday) at 4:35 on the Puffman Show from that big city with all the big buildings.
