It's actually Rick Sterry's novel, "Blizzard of '32", & we'll soon be reading this Montana author's tome up at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby. "Blizzard of '32" is Rick's depiction of the Anderson family's struggles on the remote Montana prairies in the 1930's. "Blizzard of '32; Book One of the Sage Prairie Trilogy" considers the questions: what is family & where is home? Rick dedicated the book to his mother, Nedra, & I'm sure our Tuesday evening Montana History group at the Heritage has fond memories indeed of Nedra's wonderful book we all read & enjoyed some time back. In the meantime, I'll be at the Heritage this tonight (Tuesday) for more Montana History at the Heritage beginning at 6 o'clock SHARP where we'll soon be drawing the curtain on an outstanding read, "Empty Mansions." From mansions to blizzards, that some of the great Montana History we all delve into at the Marias Heritage Center on Tuesday evenings. Looking forward to seeing you tonight.
