That's what we're currently reading about during Montana History up at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby. I'll be there at 6 o'clock SHARP tonight (Tuesday) to read more of the book, "Empty Mansions; The Mysterious Life of Huguette Clark and the Spending of a Great American Fortune" by Pulitzer Prize WINNER Bill Dedman & Paul CLARK Newell, Jr. There was "Advance Praise" for this read way before it was ever published & I can see why! W.A.Clark, Huguette's father, was one of the 50 richest Americans, ever--copper baron, railroad builder, art collector, U.S. Senator & world-class scoundrel. The man lived on a Rockefeller scale, yet his daughter & heiress, Huguette, became a bizarre reclusive...she just died a few years back when she was well over 100 years old! I encourage you to check out "Empty Mansions" a Ballantine Books Hardcover at: www.EmptyMansionsBook.com OR www.BallantineBooks.com & I'll look forward to reading more of "Empty Mansions" tonight at the Heritage as we delve into more Montana History. It's fascinating!
